Kees Marcelis
Kees Marcelis is a Dutch interior architect. With his studio he has realized numerous special projects for many decades now. They vary from renovations, for example from a deserted church to a popular community building; to creating a completely new appearance of an existing interior, for example for a renowned employment agency; to a complete set of new buildings, for example a group of three linked villa’s on a desired location of a large provincial town.
Besides that, Marcelis designs products. Applied lighting and furniture for his many interior assignments, but also stand alone products such as fireplaces, lighting, tables, chairs and outdoor furniture. Each and every one of them show craftmanship and a huge love for his profession as well as a never ending curiosity for the world around him. Kees Marcelis is often inspired by his many travels and the modern art museums or theater performances he often visits. Linck has published three of his unique lighting designs on its website. A more exemplary start of this platform is hard to imagine.
